How to access the app
ManyWords is an iPhone app distributed through the Apple App Store. After installation, open ManyWords from the Home Screen and choose Daily Challenge, Training, Archive, Leaderboards, Achievements, or Info from the app's navigation.
Game modes
- Daily Challenge: one 5-minute 5x5 hard board per day. Everyone receives the same daily grid.
- Encore Challenge: an extra 5-minute challenge unlocked by completing the required weekly daily challenge progress.
- Training: practice boards with selectable grid size, difficulty, timer, adjacency rules, letter reuse, and shareable grid numbers.
- Archive: replay previous daily boards and open older grids by grid number.
Gameplay rules
- Tap letter tiles to create a path.
- In standard daily play, each next letter must be adjacent to the previous letter.
- Daily play does not allow reusing the same tile in a word.
- Words must be at least three letters long.
- Submit the word before the timer expires.

Scoring
- 3-4 letters: 100 points.
- 5 letters: 180 points.
- 6 letters: 280 points.
- 7 letters: 420 points.
- 8 or more letters: 420 points plus 160 points for every letter beyond seven.
Duplicate words do not add points. Invalid paths, too-short words, and words not in the dictionary count as incorrect submissions for the accuracy bonus. Accuracy bonuses can add up to 15% of your base score when a round has enough accepted words and low mistakes.
